Question by cocktail_squid: How do I stop having anxiety attacks while sleeping?
Recently, I have begun to experience anxiety attacks that take place while I’m sleeping. I am not having them during waking hours, and they don’t seem to be inspired by nightmares. I just wake up with my heart racing, my chest tight, feelings of anxiety that force me to fully wake, etc. I have to stay awake for about an hour to feel better before I can go back to sleep. Why is this happening, and what can I do about it?

In your sub-conscience you are anxious, that is why you are having them while sleeping, I used to stay up for 2 days, so I could sleep with out being woke up with one. I finally got put on medication and rarely do I have one, haven’t had one in over 2 years. Hope it helps.
